Product Development Engineer - J295

The Product Development Engineer will provide technical oversight to other engineers on large scale projects as well as project scope and specificationsDuties:
Including but not limited to:
Designs are functional, easily manufactured, on schedule, and meet customer expectations Designs meet the company engineering standards Design analysis, drawings, and bills of material are accurate Develop innovative conceptual solutions Coordinate large development projects Perform design analysis for equipment Create manufacturing drawings for equipment Evaluate and implement design changes Work with manufacturing on build processes and improvement Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office software effectively
Qualifications:
4-year Mechanical Engineering degree required Thorough understanding of:
Drafting standards, dimensioning, and tolerances Mechanical power relationships such as horsepower, torque, and speed Strength of materials and structural analysis Manufacturing processes Ability to perform and take responsibility for structural and dynamic calculations Training and/or experience in using AutoCAD or similar CAD software Training and/or experience in using SolidWorks or similar 3-D modeling software Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail Ability to lead effectively in a team environment Ability to solve problems and create solutions for projects with minimal supervision Displays professional conduct and exemplifies a standard of leadership
